Cherish Earth

Cherish Earth is a line of products that will be sold at Cherry Republic stores, and all profits will go directly into a fund to help foster renewable energy practices within our community. Project funding will be similar to grant programs – interested parties contact Cherish Earth in the form of a letter and application, and projects are chosen from the applicants.

The following groups are eligible to apply for funding:
Schools, local governments (cities, townships, villages), non-profit organizations (classified 501(c)(3)), and certain other groups who are organized and working for a charitable purpose.

Guidelines:
Applicants must meet the following guidelines to be considered:
Must be located in Leelanau, Grand Traverse, or Benzie counties, and the resources used within those counties.
Project must foster renewable energy and/or energy/resource savings.
Requests must not exceed $2,500.
